GENERAL INFORMATION
United Central Campus University (UCCU) MACBES GLOBALKOC CAMPUS EDUCATION GROUP is an educational arm of The Missionaries For World Evangelization which its purpose is the development of character in young men and women including those of the interested elderly people and government officials for the provision of sound academic training requisite for real service to God and humanity, nationally and world wide, which in the past answered United Missionaries International College University, (UMICU) before its amalgamation with CCU-MACOTIS CAMPUS
The Missionaries For World Evangelization (TMFWE) which serves as the umbrella and parent body for all the MACOTIS educational Institutions, was first approved by the Imo State Government of Nigeria as her state of origin on the 3rd day of December 1998 as a Social and Voluntary Organization, a Non Governmental Organization (NGO) with its registration number 524 together with the Security Clearance of the Military Government Reference number SG1/SD/S.100/XXXIV/689 of same December, 3rd 1998. United Central Campus University (UCCU), USA was granted a Conditional Approval by the NUC in Nigeria with reference number NUC/ES/35/Vol.1/101/2004 dated 22nd March, 2004.
As an indication of positive progress after 9 (nine) years, TMFWE of UMICU (now UCCU) was approved by the Government of the Republic of South Africa on the 9th day of July 2007 with registration Number 055-879-NPO under the Department of Social Development at Pretoria, South Africa. It might interest us to know that there is another important Educational arm of TMFWE (i.e) MACOTIS ADVANCED COLLEGE OF BUSINESS EDUCATION (MACBE) also known as a Private Professional Institute. This was again approved by the Ministry of Education, ImoState of Nigeria with registration number MOE/STHE/315/1/50 dated 7th June, 2007 after the official filing in 2002. This arm bases in the training and offering of Graduate and Higher Graduate Diplomas in different academic disciplines of ones choice within the 2 years programme of Graduate Diploma and 2 other years of Higher Graduate Diploma bringing one to a total of 4 years duration course of the two segments.
UCCU MACOTIS GLOBAL CAMPUS (formally called UMICU) is also regarded as and called MACOTIS CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY or MISSIONARIES COLLEGEUNIVERSITY hence the word (MCU) as an acronym just as announced and published in the Champion Newspaper of Nigeria in the year 2004 unchallenged. The short form is UNITEDCHRISTIANUNIVERSITY (UCU) before the Amalgamation of UCU-CCU-MACOTIS AUTONOMOUS CAMPUS as per our High Court Affidavit of Facts in our change and confirmation of Names dated 30th June, 2010 and was sworn to on the 8th July, 2010.
TMFWE which gave birth to UMICU including other arms which are herein mentioned started in earnest in 1994 due to the visions of 1990, 1992 and 1994 respectively, when we could not incubate the visions any longer, we had to implement actions, since the Founder and President of this renowned International Ministerial Association (IMA) together with all other Educational Subsidiaries is well known as a MAN of VISION, ACTION with MISSION (VAM).Whatever reference number quoted herein is subject to verification.
