(UCCU) AMALGAMATED
UNITED CAROLINA CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY (UCCU) amalgamated is the same as Missionaries College University or MACOTIS Campus University (MCU) which originally started based on the divine visions of 1990 to 1994 as Missionaries Advanced College of Theology, International Seminary (MACOTIS) which is just an acronym of the above mentioned words right from No. 14, Item Street, by Mbari Street, Ikenegbu Layout, Owerri, Imo State of Nigeria.
MCU operated at such address between 1996 and 1998 when it packed up to the 2nd floor of No. 17, Item Street of same Mbari Street, Owerri up to the end of 1999 when the Institution was officially relocated to Pa Joel Eke's Avenue, Area "A" which is the residence of the Vice Chancellor, Rt. Rev. Prof. Eke Kenneth Obinna Chikezie. This Institution of higher learning operated at area "A" aforesaid between 1999 and 2004 when it finally relocated and packed down to the present permanent site at Pa Joel Eke's Avenue,Area "B", Umuanunu, Obinze, Owerri West Local Government Area, Imo State of Nigeria in West Africa.
This Institution has operated with her parent body (i.e) The Missionaries For World Evangelization (TMFWE) for over 20 (Twenty) years now while the Christian University arm has also operated for 18 (Eighteen) good years through her International Associate members like the Carolina Christian University (CCU) of Pilgrims Campus, Thomasville, NC, USA and United Christian University (UCU of same Pilgrims Campus along with the issue of Pacific Western University, Denver, State of Colorado, USA all between 1997 and now.
MACOTIS Campus University (MCU) as popularly known and called, operated with Carolina University between 1998 January, 13 and September of 2003 when it switched over to UCU, an affiliate of Central Christian University (CCU) of Lexington, NC, USA. It has operated with UCU of CCU between 2003 and 2008. We operated for 5(Five) years with each of the two(2) mentioned Christian Universities through the African Campus headquarters in Abia State of Nigeria before their Amalgamation in the year 2010 UCU was granted NUC conditional approval in Nigeria on the 22nd day of March 2004, which was later denied in 2008 and 2010 respectively. That made us to continue with other foriegn renowned Universities like University of Colorado. Boulder and State university of New - York, Albany in association with other globally internet recognized Universities.
However, through the connections of Joint University Standards Evaluation Council (JUSEC) of Albany in USA, MCU / MACOTIS GLOBAL CAMPUS which got her affiliation with PACIFIC WESTERN UNIVERSITY (PWU), DENVER, STATE OF COLORADO, has for now disengaged from Pacific Western University, USA for obvious reasons and has continue with CAROLINA CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY, (CCU) of THOMASVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA, USA along with others.
In recent times, MACOTIS as an Education Group has other World renowned Institutions which are in association with the UCCU Amalgamated as follows:- University of Colorado Boulder, Regent Drive, State of Colorado, USA; University of East London, UK, State University of New York, Albany USA and Linton University College of Malaysia having been so disengaged from Pacific Western University, USA for obvious reasons.
